Mission Statement:
The Galesburg-Augusta School District, in partnership with the home and community, will teach each student the knowledge, skills and attitudes to be a productive and ethical citizen.

We commit to providing high expectations, rigorous curriculum, cross-curricular opportunities and engaging in PLC’s to support their learning.

We commit to providing a strong foundation of experiences through modeling, training, and extra-curricular activities. 

5. We value collaboration among the home, school, and the community. 

We commit to using a variety of communication avenues, and to forming and supporting partnerships within the community.

We commit to enforcing safety rules and providing counseling and academic support to meet student needs. 

7. We value a rigorous curriculum. 

We commit to teaching for high levels of learning aligned to common core and state standards. 

8. We value lifelong learning.

We commit to modeling it for our students, and promoting it through our varied programs.
