Galesburg - Augusta Community Schools is excited to announce our partnership with EDUStaff for Substitute Services! One of the best parts about our new partnership is NO APPLICATION FEES!!

Several factors were considered in our decision to switch to EDUStaff, not the least of which is confidence in their ability to provide the excellence of service that both our district and our contracted employees require. This change is effective July 1, 2015, the date by which you must become an EDUStaff employee in order to continue working at G-A Schools.

In order to be a substitute teacher in the State of Michigan you must have 90+ credit hours from a 4 year accredited college or university. You are  not required to have a background in Education.   Substitutes will have the opportunity to teach in all subjects and grade levels.  Also, they will be able to choose the levels and subjects they prefer.
